annyeong! it's review time!

since i don't have anything to do and i don't have a job during my holiday, i spent weeks reading books and watching korean dramas. yeah, i've been into k-waves lately, k-pop and k-dramas are things that i'm really into. but first, i want to review one of the book i read.

9 SUMMERS 10 AUTUMNS by Iwan Setyawan

this is really an inspiring book. it tells about a boy who struggle to survive in life to get a better living for him and his family. the story is really touching, i love how he write the story, he tells it in a flash back plot. in my opinion, i'm not really satisfied with the whole story, because i expect him to write more about how did he get the chance to work in New York (in a more specific and detailed story). i'm also curious about the little boy in his story, who is it? is he just the writer's imagination or is he really alive?
but in all, i like this book. although there are several stories like this, such as laskar pelangi, i still love to know about other people's way to get their dreams :)

so i've told you that i'm really into k-dramas, and as you already know, i would like to review one of my favorite drama so far. yaaay!

SECRET GARDEN

The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. yeah, i'm not really good in putting words into a story so i just copied the synopsis from other website. sorry ;)

well, i really really really like this drama! yeah, altough the story categorized as fantasy, i still love it! it has a great story and really entertaining as well.
this drama successfully make me laugh and cried at 2 in the morning (yeah, i stay up late because i can't stop watching it) you SHOULD watch it if you're into k-dramas.

BONUS! since BIGBANG and SECRET GARDEN are my favorite, this is a combo for you. BIGBANG SECRET GARDEN PARODY. supeerrr funny!

K-drama over Sinetron

lately, I've been observing why i love k-dramas more than Indonesian drama, which most Indonesian called it Sinetron. well, there are numerous reason why i love k-dramas in first place.

SINETRON

1. it has mostly more than 100 episodes for a single drama.
2. the storyline, most of the time is boooorriiiinngg.
3. the protagonist cast cried every episode.
4. they shoot every episode in a same place. whether the hospital scene, airport scene and others are shot in a same place.
5. i think, the cast are not really that "good looking".
6. most of the cast cannot act the way they supposed to.thus, you can't feel what that person feels.
7. the story always about a girl who has a never-ending miserable life around vicious people. how could that be possible???
8. the teenage sinetron stories are mostly about girls fighting over a boy who's not really that good anyway -_-

K-DRAMA

1. mostly it has 16-30 episode for a single drama.
2. the storyline is fascinating, always makes me exited to see the next episode.
3. if there's a sad scene, it mostly touch my heart and i cried over it.
4. the scenery always amazed me. if there's a scene where they should go to an island, they're really shoot it there.
5. the male and female cast are mostly good looking :D6. for me, the cast are well-suited with their role.
7. the story is never about a miserable girl who always crying over her miserable life. sometimes it inspiring.
8. the words they are using are appropriate. they never shouted like : "gilaaa! guweeehh benci banget sama cewek kegatelan itu. dia ngerebut pacaar guweeehh! gelaa ga sihh?! OMG!"

this is just my opinion, so no offense. i appreciate those who loves Sinetron anyway :)

..romantic scenes always makes me feel butterflies in my stomach..

thanks to tons of korean drama dvds i bought few days ago, playful kiss is my current favorite drama. although it has cheesy story, it successfully makes me feel happy.

THE SIMPSONS FEVER

hooo yeeeaah!
dengan sangat terpaksa saya harus mengakui bahwa saya mulai suka dan hampir kecanduan nonton serial the simpsons *sigh*ini semua gara-gara kelakuan kakak gue yang sepanjang hari nyetel itu film sialan. huhupagi, sambil sarapan nonton the simpsons di FOX channel, siangnya nonton the simpsons dari DVD, terus malem, nonton lagi di FOX channel. my life is full with you, simpsons!grrr!
ada aja gitu ceritanya yang bikin gue penasaran terus,lucu, bego, bikin mikir, campur aduk deh di film itu.
yang paling gue suka adalah omongannya Homer kalo lagi kesel, dia pasti ngucapin "d'ah!" (ya, ya, gue tau lo pasti ngga kebayang nadanya gimana, makanya nonton aja filmnya) AHAHA
karakter masing- masing tuh kuat banget dan ga ada yang mirip (kecuali Bart sama Homer, sama begonya)
belom lagi si Maggie (anaknya yang paling kecil) lucu banget. dia walaupun diem- diem gitu suka ngagetin. yang tau-tau jago bela diri lah, jago nyetir lah..ada aja :)
oke, gue perkenalkan mereka satu-satu ya biar adil (siapa juga gitu yang berebut pengen tau?)haha

HOMER
pemarah, bodoh (super bodoh),romantis, baik hati,berpikiran pendek.


BART
nakal, jahil, bodoh, kadang jadi kakak yang baik buat lisa, cerdik

LISA
adik perempuannya bart, pintar (ehm,jenius), suka musik jazz, buddhist, baik hati. pokoknya tipikal anak kesayangan mama papa deh.



MAGGIE
imut, lucu, negemesin, diem-diem menghanyutkan

MARGE
ibu yang baik, pintar, pengertian, ga neko- neko.hahah

in all, the simpsons are, good (but not good for your brain actually) haha

getting crazy

i just finished watching SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS series over and over. YAAAYY! since i don't have anything to do, so..i watch a lot of spongebob series. feels i'm getting more stupid day after day watching it. okay, i tried to stop (someday) LOL!

it's just, there's a lot of fun watcing stupid yellow sponge and pink starfish playing with many things which i wish i could do the same ;P

and another thing, this morning i'm learning how to drive! yaaaayy! finally. and i did it good actually. can't wait to go to highway with it!LOL!

i told my bf about my how-to-drive-learning but i got baad response. he didn't like it. he said if i can drive a car, he think that i will go anywhere without him, and i will forget him! soo stupid!LOL!

i won't do that, hunny ;P

currently i'm missing my bestfriends so much, my pelangi and my morfin friends. miss you so much guys! :'( i wonder if we could gather around and do the things like we used to, like playing around, going for a trip somewhere.hmmm, miss those crazy moments.

okay, i'm off to go : take a bath because i'm going to meet my bf.LOL! : )

movie review

yeeeaaah..finally gue selesai nonton FULL HOUSE!
hahaha.setelah sekian lama, gue ngga pernah nonton sampe selesai, kemaren malem gue akhirnya bisa nonton sampe abis.yaaayy!
mulai dari episode 14, gue jadi nangis mulu. huhu. sedih, terharu banget gue gara- gara si 'han-ji eun' sama 'young-jae' berusaha ngungkapain perasaan mereka yang sebenernya, tapi sama-sama ngga bisa. sedih banget, ujung- ujungnya mereka harus cerai. tapi happy ending juga sih. mereka nikah lagi. awwww so sweeet..haha
(gue tau, penejelasan gue kayaknya dramatis banget, maap) hahaha.

gue juga udah nonton TWILIGHT. oke, two thumbs up! keren filmnya. pemerannya juga ganteng- ganteng. hahaha :D
apalagi si edward cullen. ya tuhan.. kalo ada vampir seganteng dia, gue juga mau dah..hhaa
sama yang cina juga keren tuh. kalo nggak salah, dia juga pernah main di film 21 kayaknya..hehe
sekeluarga vampir semua, tapi ganteng- ganteng sama cantik- cantik. seger dah gue nonton itu film. hahaha
apalagi dia kan vampir, bisa terbang, larinya cepet. siapa tau gue juga bisa ikut di ajak terbang sama dia? hahaha. asoy banget tuh! ke atas gunung ngga ada 10 menit? kayak tinggal ngedip doang, nyampe. terus kalo gue pengen naik ke atas pohon paling tinggi juga ngga usah repot- repot. tinggal minta di gendongin dia, bisa langsung nyampe dah, mantep banget kan?*NGAYAL* hahaha
gue mau beli dvdnya pokoknya!
gue masih penasaran juga nih sama film transporter 3. kayaknya keren (berhubung kata kak ian keren, gue nurut aja) hahaha

oiya, gue udah ngga missing thatlawyerwannabe-boy!hahaha. seneng banget : )
it happens all of sudden. gue lagi pengen ol msn, terus dia ternyata add msn gue, gue lagi ol, dia tiba- tiba ol juga. gue sapa, trus ngobrol- ngobrol abis itu tukeran nomor hp deh. ternyata nomornya yang lama rusak. semalem gue telpon-telponan deh sama dia. hahaha. seneng aja bisa ngehubungin dia lagi. semoga gue bisa ketemuan sama dia secepetnya. amiin : )

i guess thats it. bentar lagi tahun baru. haha
gue udah ngga punya wish list nih. pusing. pokoknya yang ada di otak gue cuma satu kata, LULUS. itu yang bakal gue butuhin banget di tahun 2009. kayaknya gue bakal menjadikan kata lulus jadi kata favorit gue, dan bakal gue ucapin mulu! hahaha

daaaaahhh, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 : )
